About Katy/Fort Bend Foodies
KFBF began as a closed Facebook group on March 17th, 2014. It was a way for the founder, Andrew Leeper, to share BBQ photos with friends and rivals in the BBQ cookoff scene. His daughter, Angelina Allen, was immediately brought on to help the page grow. Angelina began hosting KFBF dinners and other special events for the group.
As it evolved into something much bigger, Brian Walz, Lisa Martens and Sean Fitzsimmons were added to the team. With all of the help, the Facebook group became a comprehensive, information hub that focuses on all things food. It quickly expanded beyond the Katy/Fort Bend area where we all currently live.
We hope to share information, events and local specials to help support our local restaurants, venues & small businesses.

Foodies - Entry fees to you are $25.00.
Contest Rules:
• You must consume the entire contents of the bowl (noodles, meat and broth) in 30 minutes

- Tickets are only $20 each and 100% of ticket sales and a portion of drink sales will be donated to Stuff the Sleigh. Scholars and Scoundrels Katy will be serving up all of the food again this year and the menu can be found in the comments. The event will feature raffles, door prizes, exclusive swag, Singo Bingo, Christmas Themed Cocktails, music by PJ Gustafson Music && an Ugly Sweater Competition. Drink tickets will be available to purchase at the event. The KFBF Christmas party is just like your corporate Christmas party but better!
